There are several men named John in Scripture -John the Baptist and John Mark, and John the Disciple. This John is the Disciple that we refer to as “John the Beloved” and the author of Five Books in the Holy Bible. Usually John the Disciple is mentioned with his brother James. The John mentioned with Paul is John Mark. As we begin this study of the life and writings of Jesus’ Disciple, who was called John the Beloved, we are assured of certain things;
— John had a unique Relationship with Jesus Christ, and he knew Him as The Word of God;
— He documented that Christ was from the beginning with God;
— All things were made by Jesus Christ;
— The Life and Light of mankind was in The Lord Jesus who came in the flesh; — John gave this declaration:
